Cherry Blossom Maternity Session

When Brittany reached out to me for her maternity session and mentioned that she wanted the cherry blossoms, I was ecstatic! I love love LOVE shooting in the cherry blossoms. They symbolize growth and a new phase in life which is exactly what a maternity session embodies. Our original session was scheduled for the end of March, but due to inclement weather we decided to reschedule to the following week. Which we ended up rescheduling again because it was 39º outside that day. I was honestly worried for the blooms because it was supposed to get below freezing at night, so I went to Michael's and picked up some silk blossom branches in the event we needed to fake it. We were so lucky because the blooms didn't die, and on our third attempt we finally got a beautiful day to shoot. The wait was 110% worth it and I'm so happy to finally be able to share the finished photos.
